Walter worked for almost 30 years at the City of Winnipeg - Forestry Branch, and after retirement kept in touch with numerous co-workers who he cared for like a second family. He enjoyed his retirement spending time in the kitchen perfecting several dishes, such as pickles, cheesecake, and his phenomenal perogies. Walter was a wonderful human being who exemplified greatness and integrity. Now an angel watching over us, he will be sadly missed and greatly remembered. To a beautiful life came a sudden end.
