ANNIE URBANSKI It is with deep sorrow the family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother "Granny. Annie passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, August 28, 2003 at Holy Family Nursing Home at the age of 95. Mom was born at Ladywood, MB, October 1, 1907 to Nicholas and Pearl Wilk. She married Joseph Urbanski, October 4, 1930. They farmed and raised their family in the Beausejour area. Mom was predeceased by her parents; husband Joseph (1994) son Jack (Casey) 1997; brothers, Bill and Joe Wilk; sisters, Mary Garbo and Rose Borkowsky. She is survived by her son Leonard (Judy) daughter Gloria (Mike) Yanishewski; daughter-in-law Beatrice Urban; grandchildren, Margaret Ann (Casey) Smith, Michael (Kathy) Urbanski, Elizabeth (Todd) Panas, Bernie Yanishewski, Carl Yanishewski and fiancee Sherry, Cindy (Dave) Jasper; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Alex Smith, Megan and Shaun Panas, Matthew and Evan Jasper, Stephanie Urbanski; sisters, Grace Closen and Evelyn Evans; sisters-in-law, Rose Wilk, Jean Urbanski and Angela Urbanski. The family wish to express sincere thanks to Holy Family Nursing Home staff, Sisters and nursing staff of 4A for their many years of excellent support and care. Prayers will be held on Friday, August 29 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m., also at the chapel. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Beausejour, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Annies memory to Holy Family Nursing Home or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
