Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER JOSEPH ZAROWSKI Suddenly on August 13, 2003 in Paris, France. Born January 26, 1931 in Winnipeg, MB to Mary and Joseph. Fritz, Pops and Uncle Walter to many. Retired from Air Canada with 30 years service as a Financial Analyst. Walter had many abilities and interests: skilled woodworker and refinisher, gardening, an ability to repair anything and a passion for travel. He loved nothing more than to spend time with his family and numerous friends. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. Walter will be remembered for his outgoing personality, sense of humour and words of wisdom. Predeceased by his loving wife Lilian Patricia on November 17, 1998. Left to mourn his passing are children, Christopher (Carmen) of Edmonton, Robert (Christine) of Coquitlam, BC, Danita (Scott) of Vancouver; sister Jean Levandoski of Winnipeg; sister-in-law Florence (Leslie) Sikler of Calgary; cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbours, colleagues and friends. Best friend and sweetheart Joan Love, Gordon (Ginny), Moira (Dave), Dilys (Brian) and family. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, please. The family wishes to express thanks to Dr. Malat and staff of Hospital Cochin, Paris, France. Arrangements Korban Funeral Chapel. Service at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church, 737 Bannerman Ave., Winnipeg, on September 6 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow.
