PHYLLIS BISSONNETTE (nee FEYERIESEN) July 17, 1924 - August 28, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Phyllis (Nan) Bissonnette of Winnipeg, MB on August 28, 2003. Left to cherish her memory are daughter Raye; son George (Nancy) grandchildren, Dee (Marie-Line), Brigitte, Jonah, Nathan (Sarah), River, Ray and great-grandchild Elijah. She also leaves to mourn her passing brother Bud (Arlene) and sister Dell (Joe). Her parents, Ray and Alice Feyeriesen and sister Jean predeceased Phyllis. Nan was an incredibly strong woman who was always there for her family. She was a true individual who taught us love, loyalty, compassion, acceptance, fortitude, perseverance and above all, faith and devotion to family. Nan, you have touched all of our lives in ways that we are eternally grateful for. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the nursing staff of Misericordia Hospital (floors 5 and 6) in particular Cathy (Occupational Therapy), Ivy of the Victoria Hospital (3rd floor) and Riverview Palliative Care (3 East). You showed all of us that there can be compassion and dignity in the world.
