(LILLIAN) IRIS PEARL TAYLOR It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our mother and grandmother (Lillian) Iris Pearl Taylor. Iris passed away with her family at her side on August 27, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, MB. Mom was born on October 31, 1940 in Steinbach, MB. In 1959 she married Lyle Sullivan of Kinistino, SK. He passed away in August 1972. In 1976 she married George Foote of Killarney, MB. This marriage was dissolved. In 1990 she met her life partner Gerald Goodfellow of Neilburg, SK. Iris leaves to mourn her partner Gerald Goodfellow, Winnipeg, MB; her children, Dan (Lynda) Sullivan, St. Adolphe, MB, Donna (Wayne) Cuvelier, Killarney, MB, Dee (Trevor) Opperman, Norman Wells, NWT, Tara (Mark) Hamilton, Miami, MB, Lyn (Chris) Foote, Nobby, Australia. Moms grandchildren meant everything to her and she was immensely proud of each and every one of them: Jennifer and Lyle Cuvelier, Amber, Adam, and Zoe Sullivan, Jesse, Patrick and Brody Hamilton. She also leaves her mother Margaret Taylor, Winnipeg, sister Heather Fisher, Gladstone, MB, brother Vern (Shirley) Taylor, Winnipeg; a very special aunt Olive Taylor, Langley, BC, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Lyle Sullivan (1972), her father John Taylor (1998) and a short three months ago by her brother-in-law Eddie Fisher. At Iriss request no formal service will be held, with a private interment of the cremated remains to be held at Clear Springs Cemetery at Steinbach, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Iriss memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice.
