BERNICE MITCHNIK (nee SEGAL) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Bernice Mitchnik on August 31, 2003. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She was predeceased by her husband Jack, brother Sam and sister Arlene. Bernice leaves behind to cherish her memories her children, Sheldon, Connie (Gerald), Murray, Michelle (Shane), Leslie (Monica) and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as her sisters, Edith and Faye (Eddie) and brother Sidney (Elsie). We would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Hospital Palliative Care for making her last days comfortable. Graveside services to be held on Tuesday, September 2 at 3:30 p.m. at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, 230 Armstrong Ave. at Main Street.
