JOSEPH SAGAL It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Joseph Sagal on Saturday, August 30, 2003 at the age of 87 years at the Grace Hospital. Joe was predeceased by his parents, John and Anna. He is survived by his wife Helen, his daughter Sharon (Ken) Barnett of Regina, his brother Louis of Winnipeg, brother Walter of Kamloops, sister Elizabeth (Gordon) Ostlere of Winnipeg, granddaughters, Kendra (Daniel) Barnett of California and Kelly (Ian) Barnett of Taiwan. He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Joe was born in Winnipeg and grew up in the Fort Rouge area. He attended Earl Grey School and, as a young man, joined his brothers in several enterprises. He eventually worked for TCA (Air Canada) as a mechanic and provided 32 years of continuous service. Joe had many interests. He loved carpentry, possessed an ability to fix anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He also loved the outdoors and enjoyed many seasons of hunting and fishing. Joe had a wry sense of humour, and loved to joke and make others laugh. Cremation has taken place. Joes wishes were for no memorial service to be held. The family will gather privately to celebrate his remembrance. Flowers are gratefully declined. The family requests that you make a donation, in Joes name, to a charity of your choice. Joes parting words, "On the road again". THOMSON Funeral Chapels - 669 Broadway - 783-7211
