ERMA DOROTHY SCHNELL November 12, 1920 - August 28, 2003 After 82 unforgettable years, our guiding star no longer brightens our sky. Words cannot convey the person you were or the loving mark you left on those that you have touched. Wife and lover, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt - friend and guide to us all. Erma was predeceased by her husband Leroy in 1998; sons, Reginald and Cameron; and grandsons, Dean Wilker and Kevin Schnell. Left to survive Erma are two sons, Kelly (Ollie) and Steven; three daughters, Sunny (Henri Pereira), Connie (Gus Wilken) and Florence (Frank Kovacs) 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Erma was a "wordsmith" - she dearly loved the written and spoken word - she was always looking for "something to read" and wore her family out looking up words in the dictionary. She loved poetry and music; but sports, politics, gardening, animals and nature were very near the top of her "I love" list. Most of all she loved us (her family). She was confident in her abilities to see us all safely through - ignoring her own feelings and wishes at all times. Mom, friend we wish you love, freedom and the peacefulness you so rightly deserve. We look forward to seeing you again. Mom died of heart disease in Regina, SK. Her funeral will be at Greenridge United Church, Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev.
