Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM REGINALD INDRIDSON September 21, 1914 - September 1, 2003 Peacefully, with his family by his side, William (Bill) Indridson passed away on September 1, 2003. He is survived by Irene his loving wife of almost 59 years; his children, June, Wilene Place (Dave), Leah Rensfelt (Doug Porter) and Carson. He is also survived by his sister Sigga Mitchell. He will be greatly missed by his grandchildren for whom Afi had such a special place. Lorene Desmarais (Mark), Paul Jeffery (Yvonne Izewski), Dara Prychun (Patrick), Heather Beerling (Keith), Dale Place (Michelle), Karin and Eric Rensfelt. He was fortunate to have five very special great-grandchildren, Anna and Caroline Desmarais, Preston and Tyson Prychun and William Place. He was predeceased by a sister Susan and brothers, John, Lallie and Raymond Indridson. Bill was born and raised in Selkirk, the son of Sigurdur and Gudrun Indridson (nee Palsson). During the Second World War he served in the RCAF for four years where he became a commissioned officer. He was an avid businessman owning and operating several businesses over the years, including a furniture and appliance store, a drug store and Frontier Realty in Selkirk, as well as an A & W in Fort Frances, ON. Over his lifetime he was a member of the following organizations; The Manitoba Real Estate Association (past director), The Winnipeg Real Estate Board, The Board of Trade, The Army and Navy, The Legion and The Kinsmen. He also served on the Selkirk Town Council. A private family service will be held. If friends so desire, a donation may be made to a charity of their choice. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
