EMILIE (MILLY) LUTZ On Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at Luther Home. Milly, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, was born on May 21, 1912 in Winnipeg, MB. She was a home maker and also was employed for many years in the garment industry, retiring in 1972 as a forelady with Western Glove Co. During her lifetime she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Christ Lutheran Church. She was predeceased by her husband Arthur William in 1979 and sister Alma in 1991. She resided in Gimli, MB and Salmon Arm, BC for a period of time returning to Winnipeg to reside in Luther Home. She is survived by her son, Arthur Raymond (Elaine) of Winnipeg; grandson Gary (Machelle) and great-grandsons, Michael, Kyle and Raine of Edmonton, AB; granddaughter Caron (Scott) of Moosomin, SK; and grandson David of Winnipeg. She is also survived by her brothers Pastor Walter (Delila) Weind of Winnipeg and Roy (Thelma) of Vancouver. Cremation has taken place with a private family interment in Brookside Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at Luther Home, 1081 Andrews on Monday, September 22, at 2:00 p.m., with Pastor Don Engel officiating. Many thanks to the wonderful staff of Luther Home for their kind and understanding care while Mom resided there.
