DAVID ZACHARIAS After a lengthy illness, on Monday, September 1, 2003 at the Salem Home, David Zacharias, aged 74 years, beloved husband of the late Susan Zacharias of Carman Manitoba, passed away. He leaves to mourn his children and grandchildren, Pauline and husband Steve Funk, and their sons, Kevin and Travis of Lethbridge; Alan and wife Verna Zacharias and their children, Melissa and Curtis of Neepawa; Vic and wife Shari Zacharias and their children, Andrew, Michael and Jeffrey of Carman; Vern and wife Eleanor Zacharias and their children, Stacy and Jacqueline of Altona. Also surviving are two brothers, two sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by two sisters and one brother. Funeral service will be held from the Carman Mennonite Church on Saturday, September 6, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bob Pauls officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. Viewing at the church prior to the service. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
