ANTON (TONY) DEGER April 15, 1932 - September 3, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear husband and father, Tony Deger. He leaves to mourn his wife of 44 years, Elsie and their sons, Anthony, Greg and his wife Michelle; and their daughter Linda; his brother Hermann (Liesl) sister-in-law Ermgard and their families of Germany; brother-in-law Alfred Dressler; sister-in-law Adelaide Miller and their families. He was predeceased by his father and mother, Anton and Theresia; and his brother Josef. He dedicated his working life to building his businesses and providing for his family. An avid outdoorsman, he was an accomplished trap competitor, big game hunter and fisherman. A man of great character, strength and values, he played a large role in the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed. Funeral service will take place at Thomson Funeral Chapel, 669 Broadway, on Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Fritsche officiating. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Road (phone 222-3241). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
