HILDA DORSCH (nee NEUMANN) April 3, 1933 - September 2, 2003 Peacefully at home surrounded by her family, Hilda passed on after leukemia struck her only 3-4 weeks ago. Mom is survived by her children, Rolf (Sharon, sorry Sharon I left you out Wednesday), Eddy, David and Ramona (what about Bob) her sister Meta Matviecikas; her grandchildren, Christopher, Kyla, Kristin, Mark and Trent; her nieces and nephews, Peter, Erika, Rodger, Gerda, Rusty and Erika. She was predeceased by her husband Herbert on September 20, 1986 and her daughter Ingrid. Mom was generous to a fault. She was the type of person who would never say no when asked to help and first to offer if she saw a need. She was a member of St. Georges Anglican Church, the Woodlands Legion and ran Friday night Cribbage in Woodlands. She was always on the go, Cribbage on Friday, coffee at Studlers store on Saturday morning, Church on Sunday and countless activities during the week. We will all miss her deeply. The family would like to thank all the wonderful people who helped both mom and the family through the past difficult weeks, Shannon Pyziak (Palliative Care), Dawn Macklane (Home Care), June (CancerCare), Dr. Winogrodzka and special thanks to Aunt Marie McRae (Home Nursing). Viewing will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Friday, September 5 from 7:00 to 8:00 p .m. A memorial service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall on Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. Coffee and sandwiches after the services will be held at the Woodlands Hall. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made on behalf of Hilda to St. Georges Anglican Church, Woodlands.
