Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLIFFORD LLOYD ALLAN LEDGER March 13, 1942 - September 3, 2003 It is with great sadness and sorrow that the family announces the peaceful passing of Allan Ledger at Seven Oaks General Hospital on September 3, 2003 at the age of 61 years. Allan will be missed and lovingly remembered by his children, Bradley of Victoria, BC, Cory (Criselda), and Darlene (Austin) grandchildren, Meghan, Noah, and Benjamin; and sister, Shirley White (Murray). He was predeceased by his wife, Laura (nee Agpalza) parents, Arnold and Alice Ledger. His memory will be cherished by his mother-in-law, Jovita Agpalza; in-laws, Annie Agpalza, Napoleon Ebora, Flaviano (Bernadette) Agpalza, Dr. Ezra (Teresita) Agpalza of the Philippines, Alicia (Robert) Pogson, Allen (Alicia) Agpalza, Hester (Lito) Taruc, Janet (Gabby) Sangalang of Orlando, FL; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends. Allan was born in Eriksdale, MB, moved to Winnipeg at a young age and was educated in the Brooklands area. He loved hunting and fishing during summer holidays at the Kaartinen farm in Eriksdale. His passions included flying, reading and playing chess. In his younger years, Allan worked at Dominion Bridge, and later as a real estate agent in Winnipeg before moving to Victoria to pursue his business interests as an owner/operator of Westwind Cabs Ltd. Allan took great pride in his company and the time he shared with his Westwind colleagues. Upon his retirement, he returned to Winnipeg to be closer to his family. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff of Seven Oaks General Hospital for their compassionate care; sincere gratitude to Napoleon Ebora for his generosity and deepest appreciation to Harvey and Sandra Walker for their comfort and support. Prayer service will take place on Friday, September 5 at 8:00 p.m. at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St., Pastor Junie Josue officiating. The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Anglican Church, corner of Worth and William; Rev. Julie Collings officiating.
