Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN BARBARA STADTHER Our dear Mom, mom-in-law, grandma, sister and aunt died on Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. She will be remembered as the greatest to all of us who loved her. She was born to Frank and Helen Stenger on November 24, 1910 in Ohio. The family moved back to Winnipeg when she was young. She attended St. Josephs School as a child. She was a member of St. Josephs Church all her life and was a member of the Catholic Womens League and the Golden Age Group. She married Steve Stadther on September 7, 1936. They spent most of their married lives on Boyd Avenue and she lived in her house until 90 years of age. Helen is survived by her daughter Pat, son-in-law Len, grandson Chris and his wife Lori, sister Anne Komarchuk, six nieces and three nephews. She was also Aunt Helen to many nieces and nephews on her husbands side. Helen was predeceased by her husband Steve; brothers, Frank, Joe; and sister Kay. Prayers will be held on Thursday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 5 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, 355 Andrews St. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
