Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNN DOUGLAS 1945 - 2003 The family of Lynn Douglas is saddened to announce her passing. She died unexpectedly at her home in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, September 3, 2003. Born Patti Lynn Saunders in Winnipeg, March 19, 1945 to George (Bud) and Sally Saunders, Lynn, Hewitt and their three cherished sons moved to Calgary in 1976. Lynn was a generous and kind spirit who fought tirelessly against any challenge. Her compassion and generosity towards family, friends and strangers was limitless. Her family meant everything to her. A loving and caring person, Lynn volunteered for Meals on Wheels and joined the Samaritan Club of Calgary. She was an avid bridge player, and a member of Deer Park United Church. She worked hard to improve her golf and enjoyed hiking with friends. Lynn will be passionately missed by her husband Hewitt; sons, Geoffrey (Linda), Scott (Suzanne) and Stewart; brother Todd Saunders (Mary Alice) and sister Judy Kittleson (Dean) her nieces, Kelsey and Stephanie Kittleson; and her dear friend Annette Bossert and her children Kaylee and Megan. She was so proud of her two special grandchildren, Gregory and Caitlin Douglas who were the joy of her life. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held for our precious Lynny on Tuesday, September 9 at 2:00 p.m. at Deer Park United Church (77 Deerpoint Rd. S.E.). The Rev. Jennifer Ferguson, a close friend, will preside. In lieu of flowers, the family invite donations to Meals on Wheels be made in Lynns memory - Meals on Wheels, 3610 Macleod Trail, S.E., Calgary, AB T2G 2P9.
