VELVARA LITTLE (nee HODGINS) 1919 - 2003 It is with sad hearts, our family announces the sudden but peaceful passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on Wednesday, September 3, 2003 at Charleswood Care Centre, where she called "home" for the past one and a half years. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Ernie in 1987 and brother Ray Hodgins in 2001. Velva will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Shirley (Ron) son Ray (Stella), both of Winnipeg; son Bryan (Yayah) of K.L. Malaysia; grandchildren, Jennifer (Grant), Sean, Shawna all of Calgary, Nicole of K.L. Malaysia, Bradley (Karen), Dawna, Christopher (fiancee Jenny) all of Winnipeg; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Riley and Kayla of Winnipeg. Mom will be fondly remembered for her kind and gentle nature and her great sense of humour. Her family was everything to her and she was always offering a helping hand or words of wisdom to help us through life. We will miss her deeply. The family wishes to thank all the staff at Charleswood Care Centre for the excellent care and love shown to Mom during her stay. We will never forget your kindness.
