SHIRLEY PIRART It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Shirley Pirart, aged 61 years, on September 3, 2003 at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her mother Anne Wozny of Selkirk; son Lance (Leslie) grandson Christopher and granddaughter, Michelle. She is also survived by her brother Ted Wozny (Joan) sister Sylvia Malis (Ernie) and sister-in-law Sharon Wozny; as well as many family members and friends. She was predeceased by her father Andrew and brother Andy. Shirley was born and raised in Selkirk and spent her adult life in Winnipeg. Her second home was Gull Lake where she loved to feed the chipmunks and pick blueberries. Her cabin was furnished with many garage sale treasures. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 8 at 10:30 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Cemetery, Selkirk. Her pallbearers will be Ward Wozny, Brad Wozny, Blaine Wozny, Trevor Wozny, Christopher Pirart and Gary Polinuk. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirleys memory to the Manitoba Heart & Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg R3L OK6. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
