Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHELEN DARLENE BOYD (nee REHILL) It is with great sadness our family announces the sudden passing of Helen Boyd on Friday, September 5, 2003 at her home in Winnipeg, at the age of 68 years. She is survived by her son Tom (Cathy) daughter Cindy Kinley (Neil) grandchildren, Reed, Kendra and Colin Kinley; cousins, Gary Morris (Dale), Rhonda Conroy (Dwight and family), Charlene Forbes (Randy and family), Bob Morris (Thelma) and Michael Morris; as well as many friends and relatives. Helen was predeceased by her mother Annie Rehill; special aunts, Ida Neufeld, Lena Neufeld and Mary Spanier (Morris). Helen was born in Winkler, MB and spent her early life on the family farm in Snowflake and Mowbray, MB. She had been involved in sales for most of the last 30 years, with Gateway Publishing, the Marlborough Hotel, the Airliner Motel and the Victoria/International Inn. She was always a very devoted and loyal employee and took great pride in her work. Helen provided service to her clients that kept them coming back to deal with her, no matter where she was employed. She was well thought of and respected by her fellow employees. Her family was her life. She was always there to help her children and family and took special pride in her grandchildren, Reed, Kendra and Colin. She was always so willing to help others whether it was making cookies, muffins, or her legendary nuts and bolts. On Wednesday, September 10 at 1:00 p.m., Helens funeral service will be held in Deer Lodge United Church, 2093 Portage Ave. at Belvidere Street. Interment will take place in the Valley Cemetery, Mowbray on Saturday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Helens memory to the Valley Hall/Mowbray Cemetery, in care of Boyd Jackson, 19 Rampton St., Morden, MB R6M 1P9 or to Santas Tears of Hope Fund, in care of Gary Morris, Virden, MB R0M 2C0.
