Hi Dad. I love you and miss you. I think of you all the time. One day, I hope that I can see you and talk with you again. We are all fine. Kali and John are now 17 years old and doing very well in school. Next year they will go to university. I wish you could have met them. They are incredible kids. They have a great work ethic, and they are great people. I know that you would have taught them a lot of things, and they would have brought you joy and made you very proud. We are very proud of them. Tim is now retired and always working very hard to take care of us. We grow spruce and pine seedlings in the field and sell them in pots when they are ready. The garden is still as full with vegetables as it ever was! It's wonderful to work the land as you did. Tim keeps the trails maintained and trimmed. We log out the older trees every year and always enjoy the walks down the trails. Wish you were here Dad. You are always in my heart. Love Jen. #6 - Posted by: Jennifer Lodge (daughter) on: Dec 18, 2020

Hey Dad I miss you so much, now after nearly ten years I found this web site (funny thing is I don't think you would have known what a website really was). It's not important now except that I was searching the web for any trace of you and all I found was your scant obituary. If only people knew how amazing you were in this world and especially to us, your family who remain. You should know that we still speak/think of you with deep love and appreciation for all that you were to all of us...everything you taught us is alive today in memory of you, and Mom. She's still with us Dad and doing well although she missed you when you left and I think still does. I love her dearly and I visit often, she is a great woman...you chose wisely:-) Many things have changed Dad, and yet everything is different now. Your family has grown and adjusted as life progresses with beautiful additions such as Kali and John, born to Jen and Tim just after you left us...great kids that you would have certainly become close to. And my Bekki and Matt, grown and out in the world, Bekki as an accomplished and budding opera talent, and Matt, married to Lena with three incredible girls, Annika, Aliyah and Miriam. Mo is happy Dad, you prepared her well. I plan to come and see you soon Dad as the snow has finally left us, sorry I haven't been lately. Love Always...your son Douglas J. - Posted by: Douglas J.
