IDA MAY GREEN Peacefully on September 7, 2003, with family by her side, Ida May Green, age 84 years old, passed away at the Maples Personal Care Home. Ida leaves to mourn her passing four daughters, Irene, Frances (Elias), Viola and May; five sons, Antoine, Ronald (Violet), Percival (Trish), Herman (Linda) and Ernest (Albina) 42 grandchildren; 97 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon Green on February 10, 1991 and her grandson Scott Green on January 1, 1993. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 11 at 2:00 p.m. at Berens River United Church with Pastor Oliver Everett officiating. Interment to follow at Berens River Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. Chung, the staff and nurses of Maples Personal Care Home for their care and support during her stay at the home. God looked around his garden And found an empty space; He then looked down upon the earth And saw your tired face: He put his arms around you And lifted you to rest; Gods garden must be beautiful He only takes the best.
