Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY MASKIW It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother on September 7, 2003 at Concordia Hospital. Mom was born on May 10, 1910 in Olha, MB where, in 1928, she also married the love of her life, Paul Maskiw. They celebrated their 67th Anniversary prior to his death on December 1, 1995. She was also predeceased by her parents; infant son Paul; brother John Kondrat; sister Verna Linkewich; son-in-law Ron Twerdun and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Maskiew. Moms life revolved around her loving family. She will be remembered and cherished by her daughter Shirley Twerdun; sons, James (Helen), Jerry, Don (Janice) grandsons, Rodney (Nicole), Russell, Brian (Cynthia), Jordan and great-grandson Kyle Maskiw. She will also be missed by numerous cousins, Nieces, Nephews and the many friends with whom she kept in close contact, including the many friends she made during her stay in St. Michaels Villa. Mother was the glue that held our family together. We will never forget the many birthday and anniversary celebrations which she orchestrated and, in fact, she was speaking to Jim and planning a birthday celebration for Jerry and Helen when she was stricken by the stroke which eventually claimed her life. Prayers will be held on Friday, September 12 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Michaels Ukrainian Catholic Church, 400 day St. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m. also at the church. Rev. Fr. M. Krochak officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a charity of your choice. MOTHER We miss you so much; your laugh, your smile, your touch. You always brightened our days with your gentle and thoughtful ways. We need you as our angel to always be at our side. We need you as our angel to give us peace of mind. We like to think you are near to us to know that you are there. Even though we cannot see you We feel that you are near. Please do not forget us Mom, for you are always in our hearts, our thoughts and our prayers. We love you. REST IN PEACE VICHNAYA PAMYAT Arrangements entrusted to: KNYSH FUNERAL CHAPEL 582-0973
