MARY SLONECKI Peacefully, after a lengthy illness, Mary Slonecki passed away on September 7, 2003 at the Health Sciences Centre. Mary was predeceased by her mother Pauline and three brothers, Michael, Charles and William. She is survived by her sisters, Annette, Ollie (Norman) of Winnipeg; and Stephanie (Ross) of St. Albert, AB; several nieces, nephews and close friends. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, No. 1 Highway E. and Navin Rd. Flowers gratefully declined, if friends so desire donations may be made in Marys memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Aunty Mare.........Mom and Daddy Ross are with you and grandma now, as well as other loved ones like Aunty Syl and Uncle Borden, your brothers, Joan...and so many more. I sure do miss our visits and phone calls, especially when I'd confide in you about boy friends, etc. You probably recall how, when mom and dad were here in Alberta already and I stayed behind in Winnipeg, I did not have a car yet. So, I would ride my bike all the way down Henderson Highway and over the bridge just to see you and we had good visits! Those were the days. I am really grieving mom now....you probably know she took ill very suddenly last month July, it was not expected at all. It was hard on us both after dad went to sleep in Heaven, but we carried on. Now you are all together. I love and miss you so much. RIP and take mom and dad in your celestial arms and hold them close. We will all be together again one day.
