GLADYS IRENE TAYLOR Peacefully at her residence, Gladys Taylor, aged 91 years, a lifelong resident of Lockport, MB, passed away on September 8, 2003. Gladys was born in Lockport on March 12, 1912, daughter of the late Cornelius and Elizabeth Pruden. She was a lifelong and dedicated member of St. Thomas Anglican Church. She enjoyed the simple things in life such as coffee with her friends and shopping. Gladys was predeceased by her husband Orton on April 7, 1983; her only son Terrence (Terry) on November 17, 1985; brothers, Hugh, Stanley and Curtis Pruden; and a niece Arleigh Brunn. She is survived by a brother-in-law Victor Taylor; a sister-in-law Isabelle Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends, Mildred Cooper, Mary Birston, Ada Mowatt and Edith Peebles. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 11 at 1:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Rev. Stephen Sharman officiating. Interment in the St. Andrews on the Red Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Lockport. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
