STELLA ENRIGHT (nee PRZEDNOWEK) Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at the Grace General Hospital, Stella passed away at the age of 96 years. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Tufts (Bob) of Coaldale, AB and Aldeen Smith of Winnipeg; son Bruce (Mary) of Winnipeg; two sisters, Bertha Kemp of Campbell River, BC and Katie Shack of London, ON; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George in 1969; two sons, Vernon and Norman; granddaughter Wendy; four brothers and two sisters. Stella was born on February 20, 1907 in Cromwell, MB. Mom and Dad lived in Otterburne at the CPR station for many years before returning to Winnipeg. For years she was employed at Villa Rosa as a cook. She loved cooking and doing all her many crafts. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, September 15 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 530 Atlantic Ave., Beausejour, MB, with Rev. Fr. Owen Steeves presiding. For those who wish, viewing will be held one hour prior to mass. Interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Cemetery, Ladywood, MB. Our family was very fortunate to have Mom in our lives for so long. We love her and we will miss her. Thank you to everyone who was a great help to her in her latter years.
