Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERONICA MICHALISHYN-MYLES Peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer, Veronica, aged 53 years, passed away at the St. Boniface General Hospital on Monday, September 8, 2003. Veronica was a special person, who loved life to the fullest. She was a devoted school teacher who taught at various schools for over 30 years. Her vibrant spirit and her love for children made her an unforgettable teacher and pervaded her whole life. Veronica leaves to cherish her memory her beloved mother Sally; sister Elaine Beaulieu; brother-in-law Denis; Ted Myles, and his children, DVon Myles, Elaine Courneen, Jann Myles, Teresa Mitchell and their respective families who were very dear to her; numerous relatives and friends. Prayers will be held on Sunday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, September 15 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, 820 Cottonwood Rd. and Drake Boulevard, with Rev. Fr. Fred Olds presiding. Interment to follow in the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Parish Cemetery, Gonor, MB. We, the family, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to Dr. G. Crawford; Linda the social worker; Rev. Fr. R. Lanoie, and the staff of the Palliative Care Unit, for all their help, and support during Veronicas final hours. Special thanks to Dr. Marianne J. Krahn, Dr. Ethel McIntosh and all the staff of the Oncology Department of the St. Boniface General Hospital and to Fr. Fred Olds for all his love and guidance.
