GORDON JOSEPH POTT Gordon Joseph Pott passed away on September 8, 2003 at the age of 66 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife Velma; daughter Evelyn (Ken) son Murray (Jackie) daughter Karen (Dave) grandchildren, Kyle, Kelsey, Kayla and Leanne; and many other family members and friends. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers; two sisters; son Keith and grandson Kurtis. Gordon was always very involved in his community, belonging to many clubs, committees, boards and teams. He was a councillor in the R.M. of Franklin for Ward 2 from 1981 to 1996 and in Ward 6 from 1999 to 2003. He loved life and spending time with family and friends, especially his four cherished grandchildren. Viewing will be held Friday, September 12, at 7:00 p.m. with prayers at 7:30 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 13, 2:00 p.m. at Green Ridge United Church, Green Ridge, MB with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
