MARION RYLE January 5, 1956 - September 5, 2003 On September 10, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, with her family by her side, Marion Ryle, aged 47 of Lake St. Martin First Nation, entered into eternal rest. Marion will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by her husband, Monty; father, Irvin Sinclair; adopted mom, Flora Zaharia; daughters, Bertha and Christina; son Brian; son-in-law, Clint Anderson; seven precious grandchildren, Jonathon, Clarise, Naomi, Rayne, Storm, Reeva and Raven; sisters, Marie (Jim) Beardy, Mary (Larry) Spence; brothers, Mervin (Rita) Sinclair, George Sinclair, Willie Sinclair, Norman (Lorna) Sinclair, Eugene (Jackie) Sinclair and Terry (Kate) Traverse; in-laws, Ruth (Willie) Beardy, Bill Ryle, Ernest Ryle, Alec Ryle, Margaret Pollock, Susan Ryle, Silas Ryle, Mike Ryle, and Norman (Jean) Ryle; sisters-in-law, Lorna Ryle, Christine Ryle, and Myrle Traverse; several other half-brothers and half-sisters; also numerous relatives and friends. Marion was predeceased by her mother, Bertha Sinclair; brother, Theodore Traverse; special uncle, Dave E. Traverse; mother and father-in-law, Maria and George Ryle; and other close relatives. Marion grew up in Dauphin River and Lake St. Martin, and spent several years in Winnipeg and Vancouver with her mom and her siblings. Marion was a dedicated worker and held jobs including Metropol Security, the INCO mine, Anishinaabe Child & Family Services and the Lake St. Martin School. Marion was a born-again Christian who loved gospel singing, reading her Bible, and traveling to gospel meetings. Her faith in God never waivered during her long illness and she always encouraged everyone to go on, no matter what the obstacles may be. A special thank-you to the staff at the Ashern Dialysis Unit, the Sherbrook Street Dialysis Unit, the staff at the CCU in the Health Sciences Centre, the IRTC Chiefs and councillors, Pastor Ivor Grant, Anderson Family Funeral Home, and to all our friends and relatives for all their care, love and support during this difficult time. Wake services will be held on Friday, September 12 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 13 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m. All services will be held at the Lake St. Martin Pentecostal Church, Lake St. Martin, MB, with Pastor Alex Marsden and Brother Jim Anderson officiating.
