MYRON BUGERA Peacefully, on Monday, September 9, 2003 after fighting a brave battle against cancer, at the Thompson General Hospital, Mr. Myron Bugera, aged 62 years, beloved husband of Beverly Bugera of Thompson. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 13 at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 114 Cree Road at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Leslie King officiating. Cremation to follow. Myron will be lovingly remembered by his family, wife Bev; sons, Russell of Calgary, Richard (Laurie Mills) of Kelowna, Trevor (Michele Dumas) of Edmonton; and his mother, Pauline Bugera of Roblin, MB. Myron is also survived by his father-in-law Paul Bohay; brother-in-law Richard (Linda) Bohay; nephews, Rob and Doug; and niece Lesley, all of Winnipeg, plus numerous relatives and friends. Myron will be deeply missed by his wife, family and friends. He was predeceased by his father Peter Bugera; brother Boris; sister-in-law Patricia and mother-in-law Nell Bohay. Myron was born in Minitonas, MB and lived in Thompson for the past 38 years. He worked for INCO from 1965 until his retirement in 1999. He will be remembered by many from the different roles he held; with the Thompson Garden Club, the Setting Lake Cottage Owners Association, as a volunteer fire fighter for the Thompson Fire Department and, as an accomplished musician. Among the things Myron enjoyed in life were golfing, curling, gardening, fishing, sharing his culinary creations and especially, spending time at the lake. Myron held a deep love and appreciation for nature and was renowned for his knowledge of wild mushrooms. He had a curious mind, an easy laugh and a kind, generous spirit that touched the hearts of many people. Myron enjoyed a full life and lived it with ...Amazing Grace. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire donations may be made in Myrons memory to the Thompson General Hospital, in care of The Thompson Health Auxiliary, 867 Thompson Dr. South, R8N 1Z4 or Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB.
