JACK KEHLER Peacefully, Jack (Jacob R.) Kehler passed away at the Victoria General Hospital on September 10, 2003 at the age of 72 years. Jack was predeceased by his wife, Ann and his son, Richard, both in the year 2000. He leaves to mourn his loving family, Lee (Bonney), Bob (Sharon), Al (Mickey), Elaine (Ron), Barb, and Steve (Felicia) and dear grandchildren, Andrea and Brittany, Melissa and Shawn, Matt, Trevor, Carly, Michelle and Paul. Jack will also be lovingly remembered by his surviving brothers, sister, brother and sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. He was happily married to Ann for 49 years. They lived in Altona, MB until 1967, when they packed up the kids and moved to Winnipeg. Jack worked all his life for Trans Canada Pipelines, until his retirement in the early 90s. Jack and Ann enjoyed lunches at their favourite restaurants, road trips to rural Manitoba to visit relatives, and, of course, spending time with their children and grand-children, until Anns passing. His other interests were GOLF, playing crib, collecting coins, figurines, and various cards. We would like to thank the nurses, and staff in the I.C.U. at the Victoria Hospital for the care and kindness provided during Dads short stay. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Jacks memory may be made to the charity of ones choice. A celebration of Jacks life will be held on Monday September 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. "Dad/Grampa will be missed by all his family whom he loved dearly" Garry Memorial Funeral Home Cemetery and Cremation Centre 925-1120

I happened to see harness (buggy) races on tv and that made me think of Jack….I loved going to Assiniboine Downs with him during the winter to watch and bet on races….he was and still is an honourable part of my life and glad I knew him. We laughed a lot together!! I miss you Jack! - Posted by: Al Champagne (Friend) on: Dec 26, 2022
