BEN NOVOTNY On Wednesday, September 10, 2003 at the Riverview Health Centre, Ben Novotny, aged 82 years, beloved husband of the late Marjorie Novotny. Ben is survived by his sons, Jack (Diane), Richard (Brenda) and Kenneth (Lois). He will also be sadly missed by his five grandchildren, Corey, Lindsey, Brittany, Chelsea, Stephanie, as well as his brother Charlie (Emily). Ben was also predeceased by his parents Henry and Mary, as well as his brother Hank. Born in Drumheller, AB on January 6, 1921, he moved with his family to Winnipeg in 1937. Ben had worked in many aspects of farming with both his father and brothers, he also spent time in the Crows Nest Pass as a miner. Ben and Marjorie were married on April 17, 1954 in Winnipeg. Ben and Marj enjoyed travelling together as well as with family and friends. They also enjoyed square dancing and all family activities. Everyone whose life Dad touched was graced by his patience, kindness and good natured manner. All will sadly miss his energy and passion for life. A private family gathering will be held. We would like to thank all the family and friends for their support.
