DONNIE (MAURICE) RICHARD November 2, 1952 - September 9, 2003 It is with great sadness to announce the tragic sudden passing of our dear father, grandfather, brother and friend, Donnie Maurice Richard at thlie age of 50 years, on Tuesday, September 9, 2003. Maurice is survived by his companion, Jue Zebrasky; children, Barbara, Donnie, Brenda, Wayne, Ryan, Brandy and Brittany; brothers, Al (Shirley) and Brian; sisters, Helen (George), Jenny (Maurice), Georgina and Marjory (Oliver). Maurice was predeceased by his parents, his mother Sarah in May 2003; his father Telfer in September 1993; brothers, Wilfred in September 1972 and Lawrence in December 1999. Maurice who resided in Teulon was very much mechanically inclined, his passion to take apart and fix projects was his favourite hobby. Dad had a proud personality and a distinguished grin. He wore his heart on his sleeve and his hands were always open to give a helping hand. Dad loved us and we loved him. Always have and always will. For all his loving kindness He asked for nothing in return If all the world deserted us To our Father we could turn For those of you who have father Treasure him with care For you will never know his value Til you see that hes not there To hear his voice, to see his smile, To sit and talk with him awhile, To be together in the same old way, Would be our dearest wish today. Love you always Barb, Donnie, Brenda A memorial service will be held at the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, on Saturday, September 13 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Oak Point, MB. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
