JAMES TAYLOR On September 10, 2003, James Taylor passed away peacefully at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 77 years. He was born and raised in Winnipeg but was extremely proud of his Scottish heritage. After serving in the Navy in the Second World War, he was employed by Canada Post for 35 years. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 54 years; two daughters, Lynn (Errol) and Eileen (Bob) his seven grandsons, Justin (Mel), Ryan, Adam, Todd, Neil (Kim), Scott, Geoff (Nikki) and three great-grandchildren, Madison, MacKenzie and Tyson. A service of remembrance will take place on Saturday, September 13 at 1:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in James memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2L 9Z9.
