Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTAMARA (TAMMY) BRAEMER July 3, 1973 - September 11, 2003 It is with deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Tammy, beloved daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter, and friend at the age of 30 years. Left to cherish Tammys memory are her brother Brent; nephew Zackery; Uncle Fred; grandmother Anna Marie, and numerous friends. She was predeceased by her mother Marylou on May 6, 2000; her father Al on September 24, 2002, and her beloved dog Bubba in 2001. Tammy was born and raised in Winnipeg. She attended John Taylor Collegiate, graduating in 1991. Following in her fathers footsteps, "Teema-J", as he affectionately called her, became very involved in curling. She had many accomplishments including winning the High School Provincials in 1991 with her team friends, Regan, Tara and Kelli to the tune of their theme song "Life is a Highway". Curling was a family affair having been coached by both her father and her brother. She enjoyed watching her brother and dad curl and play baseball. Her mother was her number one fan. Tammy and her mom were the best of friends and spent many weekends travelling to the United States to shop. She inherited her moms love of cooking and it was her life-long dream to become a restaurant owner and chef. Tammy especially enjoyed her family vacations, with the last one being in "1998" when she won a cooking contest and got an all expense paid trip to Campbell River. The family had a wonderful time. Tammy will be sorely missed by all she touched. A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. in Crestview United Church, 316 Hamilton Ave., Winnipeg.
