BLAIR MICHAEL MacNEIL On Monday, September 8, 2003, at the age of 38, Blair went away to be with his Lord Jesus Christ. Blair leaves behind his loved and loving wife Lorraine of Winnipeg; his beloved parents, Hope and Dan MacNeil of Fisher Branch; his mother-in-law Emily Pankiw of Winnipeg; brothers, Neil MacNeil (Barb) and Barry MacNeil (Carmelle) sister Theresa Klus (Keith) nephews and nieces, Brad, Garett, Chantelle and Stephanie; as well as numerous other relatives and friends who loved him and whom he loved dearly. He was a wonderfully kind and loving man. Blair had such empathy for others, not just knowing, but feeling the love and the goodness in them and sharing their pain. He was generous with all that he had to give. Everyone loved to be in his company because he was so happy and so much fun; he had a wickedly sharp, colourful sense of humour. Blair loved children, so its little wonder that he became a teacher. He enjoyed being with his students and was such a good instructor and disciplinarian. Blair could relate to them and would reminisce about them fondly. Teaching was also a way for him to share his talents artistically and for working with his hands. He had this gift; he could create. Blair loved to be outdoors and spent many happy hours enjoying walking and camping outside with Lorraine and with others close to him. He wanted to share all of this and all that was good in the world with the people dear to him, and he did - he shared himself. A private memorial mass was celebrated on Saturday, September 13 in Winnipeg. The family would like to thank everyone who helped at the end. Your love and generous support will never be forgotten.
