KIMBERLY ELAINE HUTSEL (nee ROYKO) Peacefully, at her residence, with her family by her side, Kimberly Hutsel, passed away Friday, September 12, 2003 at the age of 43 years, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 15 years, Neil, daughter Jade, mother Irene Royko of Winnipeg, sister Karen Inge of Jasper, sister Sylvia Kozusko (Nelson) of Edmonton, nephews Greg and Craig of Winnipeg, as well as several cousins. Born March 17, 1960, Kim grew up and lived in Winnipeg for the first 35 years of her life, before moving to Moose Jaw in 1996. She embraced her new community and established and grew her business "Moose Jaw Maids & More" with her husband, until failing health forced its closure late last year. Many of her customers grew into very near and dear friends over the years. Kim enjoyed many summers of her early years at their family cottage in Grand Beach, as well as their numerous trips to Las Vegas. She also enjoyed her own family vacations to many places but most recently Florida and Mexico. Other fond times in her life included her monthly Avon parties with the girls, fishing with Harvey and Cathy Smith, camping with her family, and cooking and baking, that several CP Rail coworkers of her husband could attest to her skill. Kim was an extremely kind, caring, and devoted wife and mother, who succeeded in her business endeavours, making lasting friendships, but the greatest success of her life was motherhood. She took great pride in the raising and nurturing of her daughter into a fine young lady. Kims greatest legacy to this world is her daughter Jade. Special thanks are extended on behalf of the family to Dr. Lawrence Clein, the Palliative Care Director at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina; Dr. Haji Chalchal, her oncologist of the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, the wonderful nursing staff of the Palliative Care Ward of the Pasqua Hospital, and her own family doctor, Dr. Jacek Steplewski of Moose Jaw. In compliance with Kims wishes, cremation has taken place and no funeral service will be held. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Kims memory may be made to an educational trust fund for her daughter Jade, set up through the CIBC Bank in Moose Jaw. Her passing is a great loss to all of us and she will be sorely missed. We love you sweetheart and hope to meet again. In living memory of Kim, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home. Please sign the memorial register book at website: www.wjjonesandson.com (obitbulkloaduaries). PRAIRIE MEMORIAL CREMATORIUM ALTERNATIVE SERVICES CENTRE (306)631-5523
