LENORE (MILLY) ORVIS (nee IRVINE) It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Lenore at the age of 66 years. She will be sadly missed by her chimas), Dale (Jackie), Jo-Anne (Dldren, Donna (Howard Halvorson), Audrey (Hal Thowayne Kehler), all of Winnipeg, Marie (Billy Neapew), Lenora (Vernon Nepinak), both of Pine Creek, Marylou Orvis of Calgary; 26 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; uncle Bill Starr; very special friend Melford Spence; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. We would like to thank moms very special cousin Isabelle Kent in caring for mom until she was hospitalized. Mom was predeceased by her parents, Martha Starr, Bill Irvine; sister Arlene Michaud; ex-husband Lloyd Orvis; and grandson Kenny Neapew. A viewing will be held Wednesday, September 17, at 7:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 18, at 11:00 a.m. also in the Chapel, with the interment to follow in the St. Peters Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Russell Nielson, Leo (Sweetpea) Nielson, Richard Starr, Barry Starr, John Michaud, and Lloyd Michaud. Honorary Pallbearers will be Howard Holvorson, Billy Neapew, Perry Hanson, Hal Thomas, Vernon Nepinak, and Dwayne Kehler. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
