Geoffreys spirit was forever freed from its earthly bonds early Sunday morning, September 14, 2003 in Edmonton, AB. Geoff, an avid skateboarder, possessed a passionate, artistic soul that he willingly shared with others through his writings and provocative conversation. Geoff was loved by many and has left his mark on this world and those who were fortunate to know him. Geoffrey will be missed by all and not least by his mother Judie Garvin, father Perry Ramey and brother Daevid Ramey. Enjoy the Journey Geoff, we love you! A celebration of his life was held on Tuesday, September 16, in Edmonton. A gathering of his Winnipeg friends and family will be held Wednesday, September 24, between 8:00 and 10:00 p.m., at Mondragon Bookstore and Coffeehouse, 91 Albert St., Winnipeg, 946-5241. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MADD, contact the national office for more information 1-800-665-MADD (6233).

It is almost 23 years later and losing Geoff still hurts. I gave a little eulogy at the urging of Judie that day and I vowed those wouldn't be the last words I spoke about him.
