MAURICE GIROUARD "BEDOVE" October 6, 1943 - September 15, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice "Bedove". He will be lovingly remembered by his son Daniel and Daniels mother Doris. He is survived by sister Rita Hayward (Bob) brothers, Denis (Monica), Phil (Gaylene) and Roland (Marlene) and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Marie Girouard. Maurice was born and raised in St. Norbert and lived there most of his life. "Bedove" had many friends at the St. Norbert Hotel, the Eagles Club and at the Peace Garden in Fort Garry where he kept regular office hours. He lived his life the way he wanted and will be missed by his family and friends. A service of remembrance will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 19 at St. Vital Roman Catholic Church, 1629 Pembina Hwy. In lieu of flowers, donations in Maurices memory, may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
