WIGCHER (RED) ZYLSTRA November 15, 1919 - September 16, 2003 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Wigcher Zylstra on September 16, 2003 at Concordia Hospital. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lien in 1999. He leaves to cherish his memory: his children, Lina, John and Lori, Shirley and Franz, Annette and Art, Gordon and Grace, Harold and Freda, Victor and Kathy, Judy and John, Joyce and Rick; 24 grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Doet and Piet Buikema, his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Stoffer and Trijn Vandermaar in Winnipeg, and brothers and sisters in Holland and New Zealand: many nieces and nephews; as well as numerous friends. While he will be greatly missed by all who loved him, we take comfort in knowing that he has gone to our Lord, and we will see him again. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20 at Transcona Christian Reformed Church, 6 Kern Dr., Winnipeg, MB. Pastor R. Zekveld officiating. Interment to follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens. If friends so desire, donations may be made in Wigchers memory to the charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of N3W at Concordia Hospital for the excellent care Dad received during the past five months. "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength.
