DENNIS McPHAIL October 3, 1947 to September 18, 2003 It is with great sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of Dennis on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at the Victoria General Hospital. He will be forever missed by his wife Melinda; daughters, Angi (Bob), Tamara (Adam) and his grandchildren, Ella, Brolin, Jordyn and Nola. He also leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Mike and Lovina Green; mother-in-law Margaret Pruden; brothers, Rob (Carolyn), Doug (Cathy) stepbrothers, Jim (Laurie), Brad (Sue) brothers-in-law, Ed (Diana), Robert (Michelle), Randy (Ramone) sisters-in-law, Brenda (Neil), Dawn, Pat; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dennis was a loving and dedicated husband and father who took great pride in his family. His greatest pleasure was his grandchildren who he loved and adored with all his heart. He was in his glory when the grandchildren came to visit and he was able to spend time with them. Friends and family were always welcome at the McPhail home. Many great times were had and memories made with family and friends during the weekends at their home in whatever town they happened to live in at the time. The family wishes to thank the Winnipeg Fire and Paramedic Service and the doctors and nurses in the ER/ICU at the Victoria General Hospital. Their professionalism, caring and compassion made a big difference during a very difficult time. At Dennis request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service in celebration of Dennis life will be held Monday, September 22 at 2:30 p.m. at Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk, MB. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. "We love you and will miss you forever Wally McFly!" Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
