MARGARET REID (nee SNYDER) On Monday, September 15, 2003, at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Margaret Reid, at the age of 94, passed away peacefully. She was born August 23, 1909, was a long time resident of Deer Lodge and the beloved wife of the late William Reid, owner of Reids Grocery on Portage Avenue in St. James. Margaret was a devoted mother and homemaker as well as a skilled seamstress, needlecrafter and cook. She is survived by her three sons, Bill (Eleanor Seeley) of Palm Springs, Gordon (Mary Alvarez) of Houston, and John (Reta Fulton) of Montreal; five grandchildren, Maryanne, Scott, Pamela, Karen and David; one great-grandchild, Ethan; and a sister, Pat Gamey of Deer Lodge.
