Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBLAINE ANDERSON November 30, 1989- September 18, 2003 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at Lakeshore General Hospital. A wake service will be held on Saturday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer, Fairford, MB with Robert McLean officiating. Interment will follow at St. Helens Cemetery. After a brief battle with cancer Blaine went home to be with our Lord on September 18. Although Blaine was with us a short time, he touched the hearts of those who knew him. He was an easy going guy who liked to joke around. Even through his illness he still found a way to make you smile. He did not want you to feel sorry for him because he was not a selfish person. Instead he wanted you to carry on like there was nothing wrong. He was a Warrior right to the very end. Blaine will be sadly missed but hell live on in our hearts forever. Blaine leaves to mourn his mother and father, Carol Anderson and Mike Woodhouse; sister Jennifer (Jaycee) Anderson; brother Parker James Anderson and half brother Evan Beardy; grandparents, Bert and Christine Woodhouse. Blaine is also survived by his aunts, Lori Anderson, Patricia (Clay) Sinclair, Tammy (Ian) Lavallee; uncles, Robert M. Anderson, Steven Woodhouse, Jerry (Laureen) Woodhouse and Ryan Woodhouse; great aunt, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention. Blaine was predeceased by his grandparents, Marilyn and Louis Anderson; great-grandparents, Tom and Elsie Letandre, Robert and Martha Anderson, Louis and Ida Woodhouse. The family would like to say a special thank you to Valerie Hall and family, she opened her heart and home to Blaine during his illness. The family would also like to thank doctors and nurses who treated and cared for Blaine; Dr. Yanofsky and staff at CancerCare Manitoba, Grace Thompson and Rainbow Society. FREEDOM Though in pain and suffering he did not falter Through his faith and strength he did conquer Although he came for only a little while He always found a way to make you smile He now rests with ease and free from pain He now awaits us till we see him again.
