ALEXANDER PETER CONKLIN Peacefully on September 16, 2003, Alec passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 97 years. Alec was predeceased by his wife Bertha (Beth) and son Donald. He will be sadly missed by son Robert, daughter-in-law Joan; grandchildren, Kimberley, Brent, Cheryl (Wade), Kelly (Grant), Cherie-Lynn (Arlen) and Troy (Michelle) great-grandchildren, Terry, Bradley, Taylor, Madison, Kelsey, Hannah, Nicholas, Natassia, Aaron, Jessica Beth, Izabella and Ryan Alexander and nephew Jerry. Alec loved and worked hard in the grocery business. He met many people through Safeway, Shop-Easy and eventually owning and successfully operating his own stores. In accordance with Alecs wishes cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff in St. Boniface Hospital, 6th floor medicine and home care staff. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to War Amps of Canada.
