EWAN "LAZ" McKENZIE LAZARUK It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Ewan on August 27, 2003, at the Langley Memorial Hospital, British Columbia, after a very short illness. Ewan was predeceased by his father and mother, Bill and Lena Lazaruk; and his only sister Eileen. Ewan leaves to mourn his children, Patti, Darren, Lana, Tanya and Kyla; grandchildren, Kelsey, Jonathon and Daniel; niece Dale; nephews, Brad, Joey and wife Debbie, all of British Columbia. Ewan will also be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins in Winnipeg, Selkirk and Lockport. Ewan was born on December 4, 1934, in Selkirk, MB. He attended Gonor School and was raised in the Lockport/Selkirk area. He enjoyed growing up with his many cousins. Ewans dream was to be a successful businessman. In the late 1950s he ventured to British Columbia where he became a prosperous realtor in the Langley area, winning many top awards in real estate. Laz lived life to the fullest; he was a hard worker and a great socializer. He had many friends and was a great father - he touched a lot of lives. Laz loved fishing, golf and tennis and loved to travel. We will miss your beautiful smile and your zest for life. "Ewan - May You Rest In Peace"
