JOHN VERSCHEURE Its with deep sadness we announce that John passed away at the Riverview Health Centre on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at the age of 74 years. He is survived by his wife Shirley, son Jim Bunce and daughter Lynne Dass, grandchildren, Christine, Terri and Jeff Bunce and Amanda and John Dass; brother Joe (Hope) and nephews, Gerry and Rennie; and nieces, Louise and Michelle. John was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Therese and wife Audrey. John retired from Greyhound on September 1, 1993 after 35 years as a driver and driver trainer. His love of the road never diminished and the many friendships that were developed from his association with Greyhound were always cherished. The family would like to thank the staff at Riverview 3E for their exceptional care. Friends are invited to attend a memorial reception between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 23 in Thomson Funeral Chapels, 669 Broadway. Come share the memories of a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He will always be remembered as a very special man and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
