Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDOUGLAS SPENCE "KIMAJAY" Suddenly on Friday, September 19, 2003, Douglas Spence passed away at the age of 55 years old. He was predeceased by his parents, Louie and Lizzie Spence; brothers, Joseph, Norman and Daniel; his nephew Beeper (Joseph Spence) his special friends, Jack Orser, Leonard Monkman and Vincent McKay. He leaves to mourn his daughters, Stephanie (Arthur) Swain, Marie and Audrey; son Norman Spence; his grandchildren, Dayna and Kristian; sisters, Georgina (Bob), Mary and Rose (Derek) his brothers, Gordon, Stanley (Dolly) and Wallace; nieces and nephews, Stuart, Rachel, Kelly, Sheila, Jerry, Ricky, Adam, Caroline, Leah, April, Tracy and Danielle; aunties, Florence Choken, Isabel Maytwayashing and Margaret Spence; uncles; numerous cousins and friends. Wake services will be held on Tuesday, September 23 and Wednesday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Kateri Parish Church at 794 Ellice Ave. with Fr. Paradis officiating. Service to terminate at the church with cremation to follow. Today our brother was called To his eternal rest; Gone where the angels sing so sweet And taken where God knew best. We miss him so very much, His presence oft seems nigh, But we all hope in heaven to meet Where no one says good-bye.
