Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE TALAGA (OSNACH) 1911 - 2003 With gratitude for a long and wonderful life, her family announces Annes passing on September 19, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital in the ICU. Anne leaves to mourn her passing her two daughters, Dolly of San Francisco, Augustine Nichols; son Nick and wife Sandra; six grandchildren, Justine, Jeff, Bradley Nichols, Jayson and Linda, Kimberley, Christopher Talaga; two great-grandchildren, Araya and Braydon; her sister Alma Swarychewski; her brother-in-law John Talaga and wife Ann and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Anne was predeceased by her husband Joe in 1992; by her parents, Julia and Nick Osnach; five brothers, John, Mike, Walter, Metro and Alec and two sisters, Alice Mugford and Natalie Andrusky. Anne was born to pioneer parents in Broad Valley, MB in 1911 and married Joe in 1929. Together they carried on the pioneering attitude of their parents in the Broad Valley area. Joe and Anne helped build the community hall, school and the cemetery. As well as helping the community, raising three children, Mom also worked side by side with Dad in his black smith shop. Anne was a talented seamstress and could create a wedding dress just from a picture and shared her talents with friends and family. Mom also made uniforms for the Broad Valley baseball team. Although moving to Winnipeg in 1950, Annes Broad Valley homestead was always in her heart. Anne had a gift for remembering birthdays and birth signs. Family and friends will sadly miss her. We would like to thank Annes special friends that brought joy to her life over the years. In keeping with her wishes, Annes ashes will be interned at a later date. A private family gathering was held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Dr. Cleghorn and staff at Seven Oaks ICU and her family doctor, Dr. Barbara Biala. "A loving mother, tender and kind, what a beautiful memory you left behind."
