JOYCE M. BAERT (nee DE BLAERE) 1932-2003 On Sunday, September 21, 2003, Joyce left this world to join her beloved husband Aime. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Randy (Diane) and Brian (Michelle). She will live on forever in the hearts of her grandchildren, Jaclyn, Jenessa, Ashley, Tamara, and Eric. Joyce was predeceased by her parents, Emeric and Mary De Blaere and father-in-law Remi Baert. She is survived by brothers, Larry (Lou), Dennis (Claudette) sisters, Yvonne (Walter), Marlene (Stan) mother-in-law Agnes Baert; brothers-in-law, Larry (Elda), Adelard (Flo) sister-in-law Mary Rose (Ken) and numerous nieces and nephews. Joyce was born June 24, 1932 and lived all of her life in Winnipeg. She enjoyed a career of 28 years at the City of Winnipeg where she met many lifelong friends. During her years of travel with family and friends, Joyce and Aime enjoyed a summer home in Falcon Lake. During their retirement years, they wintered with their friends at Enchanting Shores in Naples, Florida. She enjoyed her many years of being a member of St. Francis Mission Group. Joyce took great pleasure in a good card game, especially with her special bridge friends. The family would like to give their thanks to the special staff at Victoria Hospital Oncology Department. A celebration of Joyces life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 24 at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood with Fr. Fred Olds officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
