AIME NORMANDEAU February 7, 1927 - September 20, 2003 Peacefully, at Foyer Valade, surrounded by his loving family, Aime left us to enter into eternal life at the age of 76 years. Aime is now reunited with his father Emile Normandeau, his mother Ida St. Laurent, his brother Paul, and his sister Therese Fortier. Those who will forever cherish the memory of his love are his wife of 52 years, Solange (nee Beaudette) his four children, Raymond, Lynne Rochon, Claire, and Colette of Quebec; his precious grandchildren, Lianne, Daniel, and Martin Rochon, Chantal and Michel Ferre, Andreane and Guillaume Moreau; his sons-in-law, Paul Rochon and Yves Moreau; his brother Maurice (Doris) of Montreal; his sister-in-law Denise Normandeau; his mother-in-law Marie Beaudette; his wifes brothers and sister; as well as numerous nephews and nieces. After graduating from St. Boniface College, Aime was employed with the Manitoba Government, Department of Municipal Affairs, for over 36 years. Cher Papa, Tu etais un homme de grande foie qui a su nous transmettre tes valeurs chretiennes. Tu nous legues aussi, ton ethique professionelle, ton souci du travail bien fait, ta fierte detre francophone, ton amour du voyage et ton appreciation des belles choses. Nous garderons de precieux souvenirs de ton honnetete, ta generosite, ton amour profond et ta devotion a ta famille. "Tu etais pleinement AIME". Nous desirons remercier les membres du personnel du Foyer Valade pour les soins attentifs offerts a notre cher Papa depuis 17 mois. Votre tendresse et votre compassion ont ete appreciees. A celebration of Aimes life and mass of the resurrection will be held on Wednesday, September 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Eglise St-Eugene, 1007 St. Marys Rd., Winnipeg. Interment of cremated remains will be held at a later date. If friends so desire, a donation in Aimes memory can be made to the Parkinson Society of Manitoba, 204-825 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3A 1M5, or to the Foyer Valade "Foundation for the Future" campaign, 450 River Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 5M4.
